Tinryland League Campaign Coming to an End

Tinryland Seniors complete their League campaign this week

Tinryland senior footballers complete a successful Carlow S.F.L. division 1 campaign with three  games in the next week. On Saturday 18th June the team are away to St. Patricks in Tullow at Next  Tuesday evening 21st June the team are in action against Kildavin-Clonegal in Rathcrogue at 7.30 p.m. while the final game of the 11 game tournament takes place at 7 p.m. on Saturday next against O’Hanrahans.

In the league to date Tinryland has won 6 games out of 8 and wins this week will quarantee the team a place in the semi final for the first time in 20 years.

Tinryland supplied 3 players to the Carlow team that defeated Louth recently with Shane Redmond captaining the squad and Trevor O’Reilly starring in goal. John Paul Moore was also part of the Carlow panel. Tinryland G.F.C. will be running a bus to Croke Park on Sunday next 26th June for the Leinster S.F.C. semi finals involving Carlow and Wexford and Kildare and Dublin.
