Tinryland to host 14 games in Irish Pride Feile peil Na Nog 2015

Tinryland G.F.C. will be a hive of activity on the last weekend of June with the club being one of 76 host venues for the 2015 feile peil na Nog which is one of the largest youth sporting competitions in Europe involving 250 boys and girls U14 teams from all 32 counties and 10 overseas units. This year’s Irish Pride sponsored event is being held in Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow.  14 games in total will be held on the 2 pitches in Rathcrogue beginning on Friday evening 26th June when Adamstown from Wexford take on Erins Own Carigan from Antrim and Tinryland play a Dublin club with both games starting at 5 p.m.

At 6 p.m. Adamstown and Tinryland do battle while the Antrim team that is being hosted in the Tinryland area take on the Dublin representatives.

Saturday 27th June will be a busy day with the action starting at 11 a.m. when the Bennekerry –Tinryland girls play St. Pauls of Belfast while on the 2nd pitch Tinryland boys play Erins own Carigan.

On Saturday afternoon Tinryland is the venue for two division 6 shield quarter finals at 3 p.m. while at 4.30 p.m. two cup quarter finals in division 6 are down for decision in Rathcrogue.

Five games are scheduled for Sunday 28th June with two division 6 shield semi- finals starting at 11.50 a.m. and two division 6 cup semi- finals due to start at 12.40.

The division 6 boys shield final will be played in Rathcrogue on Sunday afternoon 28th June with the throw in scheduled for 2.30 p.m.
