Tinryland U16s  played Clonmore in the Division 2 final on Thursday 15th in Netwatch Cullen Park. Under pressure from the start the Tinryland team fought hard and put together a fine run in the first half which saw them score five unanswered points to go ahead midway through the half. Clonmore's midfield, which proved a handful all night, got them back into the game with a goal and a succession of points. The Tinryland boys never let their heads go down and responded with a couple of scores to finish strongly. Half time score Tinryland 0-8 Clonmore 1-8

The second half was a much more one sided game as the power of Clonmore proved too much for a brave Tinryland team which never stopped running and fought right to the final whistle. Final score Tinryland 0-9 Clonmore 3-16
